2009

I feel that this year has been the best and eventful year of my life. I could go on and on and write a easy but who wants to read all of that. Lets keep it as simple as possible with the events in order from Jan to December.

I was laid off in January then mid February the company closed their doors.
Cody and I and with two good friends left for Vegas the first of February and got MARRIED. -We had a wonderful time and would do it again in a heart beat.
My grandmother got very Ill and help with taking care of her until the end of April- she is doing great now and getting back to normal.
In April I decided that enough was a enough and I began to start doing a "life style change"and began to exercise and eating right.
I found that I had alot of extra time during my job hunting so -I started volunteering at the local animal shelter - If only my dogs knew how good they have it.
Speaking of dogs- Mr. Bo landed kind of on our door step in May - Bella is okay with it now.
Did I mention he was a puppy- we have lost alot of things due to him learning but wouldn't change a thing.
I been reading my aunts blog for a long time....and decded to open up my own blog.
I started back to work temporary at the end of July doing payroll for a company - It was great getting up in the morning and working again.
We took another trip to Vegas in October- We had another great time. We called it Honeymoon take II.
My temporary job had ended but started working with a old co-worker/friend doing recruiting in the same week.
We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed being with friends and family.
I lost a little over 40 pounds this year.
My husband, family, friends and I are in great health and that is the best thing out of my 2009!

I am ready for the New Year. Lets bring on 2010.

On a Serious Note

I will be the first to admit Holidays can become long with traveling and eating than running to the next house. However, this year I am looking at it differently.

A close friend to Cody and I passed away today with Cancer. He found out this past March by going to the ER for a tooth that wouldn't stop bleeding. 12 hours later they were letting him know he had one of the worst kinds of cancer and he was far worst stage. 2 days after that he started chemo. He had cancer of the blood. He played off the and even acted like it was nothing. But after spending countless days in the hospital (more in the hospital than home) this year. Countless chemo treatments and the last biopsy revealed that the leukemia was back again. With 8 full body radiations treatments and 2 strong chemo rounds, the doctors said at Thanksgiving he needed to go home and live life has comfortable as possible and gave him a week to live.

He went home and lived life as much as he could. Laughed with family and friends, hosted parties, played poker at home with friends and just made people laugh. He even told his mom (who is 70 plus years old) "Mom don't be all upset you are old and you will probably follow right be hind me in a few weeks"
December 21st more than 3 weeks after the news he finally let God take him and let me be in a better place. He left a Wife, a son and a daughter.

RIP Mark Rozzi

Pay Phone

Today I seen a pay phone for the first time in a long time. I know that sounds crazy, but I have not seen one for a while since almost EVERYONE has a cell phone. I think you can consider them "outdated".

Have you seen a payphone lately?

Sick

The questions is - Do I have the Flu or not?

Either way, its not the best weight loss program. I can't keep anything down and I feel like a bus ran me over. So, I am laying in bed with my dogs hoping for my husband to get off from work to take me the DR.

But what topped off my day was that I had a third round interview at 8am. No shower, had a 100 degree temp and the guy seem like a straight shooter and I couldn't read him at all. Well its between me and another candidate. Gosh, wish me luck.

What are you Thankful for?

This question is asked mostly this time of the year. However, I have reminded myself through out the year what I have been thankful for.

This year has been life changing and many events have happen. But I am mostlymost thankful for my husband Cody. He has been my rock, my support, a shoulder to cry on and the one to get me back on track. Even though, we did get married this year I think no matter what he would be right by my side the whole way.

WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR?

Downtown

Well, I made it my first week downtown. Well I only worked Thursday and Friday. First day was a bit crazy, I was ready to take off running and I tried and took in so much information, that night I went to bed at 7:30pm with a awful headache.
Day two was better however, note to self - bring my office key home so I can get into my office the next day. Ha Ha. Yes, at times I am spacey.

This week I work four days so I will let you know how it goes.

Driven

Driven by so many things in my life at this time but the #1 one thing that is making me realize that I need to get up and dust myself off again and keep going.

I have this strong will to continue my career in HR. I enjoy helping people, explaining rules, understanding employment laws and meeting friendly people. However in this economy HR is not the field you want to be working in. The first place a company starts cutting is your HR department.

However, since mid July, I was contacted by a network friend to work with a seed corn company. They where the most down to earth and friendly people. The ladies I worked for thew so much as me and pushed me to learn this or that. Exposed me to many formal legal laws regarding HR. They would great! I knew going in to this job that this could be temporary or a full time job. The more I was there the more I prayed that they would keep me. However, sadly this past week I found that the Director found a external candidate that had more experience and choose to offer her the job. I was very disappointed but than I thought "Things happen for a reason" I learned a lot and I grew a lot professionally.

Two or three weeks ago, I was contacted by a friend (I worked with at PAI) that needed some temporary help and asked me if I could come in and work with her the rest of the year in her HR department. I told her I would have to wait for the outcome of my current temporary job. Which is now, ending tomorrow. I told her I would come and help her out.

The point of this blog was to let my thoughts out. I am DRIVEN, WILLING, and DETERMINED to get as much experience possible and take every chance I have to learn and run with it. I am VERY lucky that I have meet such great people that have contacted me and asked me to come and help their HR teams.

Even though, I would do anything to have a full time job, a place where I feel like I belong, somewhere I can grow, learn and take off with my career. But that isn't in my cards at this time. So, I blessed that everyone that I worked with in the past has enjoyed my work ethic and have asked me to come help them out. During that time, I am hoping the crazy economy gets better.

So, I am going to keep my head up high, a smile on my face and keep pushing through and my hard work will be notice and it will pay off at the end.

A good or a Bad thing?

We have great people that live around us. I never worry about leaving out of town and something happen to our home. But I wonder at times if the ladies that live around us have to much time on their hands or watch way to closely.

Back in February when I lost my job, the lady across the street came out and asked me if I got laid off because I was home during the day. I was shocked but replied yes.
Well, recently I was taking the dogs out to the bathroom and she rushed out as soon as I came out of my door and came over to my yard to ask me what time do I have to be at work. I was confused why she was asking but I answered 8am ish. She said "Oh, I notice that you have been leaving at 5:30 in the morning. I was shocked that she was up and watches me leave. I told her sometimes I like going to the gym early in the morning before work.

I should of told her that their was a another man......Just see her face.

So, no need to pay for a security system, just have people that live around you that have no life.

Tis the Season

Tis the Season to see Christmas advertisements. The Holidays are very close and that means that we spend money and eat alot.

But most important you get to spend time with Family and laugh about the little things.

Lets start the holidays and lets be thankful for the simple things in life!

Thanksgiving #1 2009

Can't pick you Family members only your Friends. I just found myself reminding myself that today during our annual Thanksgiving dinner.

So for Christmas and next year for Thanksgiving I need to......Drink and drink alot. Or make the whole experience short and stay away from the family member that DRIVES ME NUTS.

Why do some people make life so negative, when they have good health, a roof over their head and have a huge family to celebrate life with?

Stop and take some time and take a walk though the woods and enjoy the great Fall weather we having.

Dr. Oz's 25 Health Tips to Swear By

1. ROTF, LMAO

Laughing not only eases stress, promotes social bonding, and lowers blood pressure, it may also boost your immune system. So bring some humor into your life, whether it's through friends or even a new TV show (preferably mine).

2. Don't skip breakfast

Fiber in the morning means less hunger late in the afternoon, when you're most likely to feel tired and gorge yourself on sugar. My morning dose comes from steel-cut oatmeal, usually mixed with raisins, walnuts, and flaxseed oil. An early start on eating also keeps your metabolism more active throughout the day; breakfast eaters are thinner than people who just rush out the door.

3. Hit the sack

Conan and Dave are funny, but they're not worth the strain on your system. Seven hours of sleep a night not only helps you live longer, but also lowers your stress, sharpens your memory, and reduces cravings for pants-splitting foods. Set a bedtime and stick to it. My target is 10:30 p.m. I record the late shows and then watch them the next day as I pedal a stationary bike.

4. Admire your work

Don't be so trigger-happy with the flusher. Turn around and take a look at your poop, which speaks volumes about your gut and overall health. Poop should be smooth and S-shaped, like your colon. If it comes out too lumpy, or drops into the bowl like marbles, you're constipated. Increase your fiber and water intake. This happens to me when I travel, so I fiber-load before a trip to avoid getting irritable. But you don't need Metamucil—here are 30 great-tasting ways to add fiber to your diet.

5. Don't pamper your bad back

Even if you're hunched over in agony, taking to your bed will only make a bad back worse. The latest research shows that bed rest weakens back muscles and prolongs the suffering. Married men may suffer more than single men because of all the pampering. I used to love milking the care from Lisa, but the best solution is to get up, take a pain reliever, and be a soldier.

6. Taste the colors

Foods with bright, rich colors are more than just nice to look at. They're also packed with flavonoids and carotenoids, powerful compounds that bind the damaging free radicals in your body, lowering inflammation. (Sadly, Skittles do not count.) Eat nine fistfuls of colorful fruits and vegetables each day and you'll reap the benefits without having to give up other foods. Whenever I shop the produce aisle, I'm reminded that these foods are often more powerful than the drugs sold in pharmacies. My favorites are arugula and blueberries.

7. Brushing is not enough

If you plan to spend your later years eating more than yogurt and applesauce, invest in some floss. No matter how thoroughly or long you brush your teeth, you're missing a good portion of their total surface. That's like washing one armpit after a workout. But the dangers of skipping floss go beyond hygiene: The bacteria that linger can increase your risk of heart disease. I use Reach Ultraclean floss, which stretches to glide between teeth.

8. Take a deep belly breath

Do this anywhere, anytime. Push out your bellows and suck air through your nose until your lungs are full. They'll fill with nitric oxide, a chemical found in the back of your nose that opens up blood vessels. The dose of oxygen will make you feel happier and more alert. This is my secret technique for calming down before a show or a tough stitch in the OR.

9. Join a yoga class

Yoga is the most important exercise of my daily routine. Being surrounded by beautiful women in spandex should be reason enough for you to join a class, but if you need more motivation, consider this: Yoga eases stress, lowers blood pressure, slows heart rates, and increases flexibility. And there's nothing mystical about it. Loosening your muscles will make them more adaptable, so you may be less likely to injure yourself playing sports. Sure, some of the poses may look ridiculous, but that's for a reason you'll learn quickly enough. Yoga can reach and work muscles that are ignored during routine sports and daily life. My favorite maneuver is the sun salutation.

10. Don't be an island

Ever wonder why women live longer than men do? One major reason: They form tight networks and actually talk about their problems. If you face life's stresses alone, you will make yourself older. Bankruptcy, for example, causes enough stress to wreak havoc on your body. With another person's love and support, that inner aging can be reduced. You really can remake your body into a sleeker, fitter, stronger version of its younger self: Here's everything you need for your best body at 40+.

11. Avoid fad diets

The secret to weight loss is not to avoid carbs, fats, yellow foods, solid foods, or foods that start with the letter G. The real trick is to lower your daily intake by about 100 calories. You'll hardly notice, but it'll add up to a loss of about 10 pounds in a year. Calorie restriction has been shown to lengthen life (in rats and monkeys). I cut back once a year to reset my appetite and tastebuds. Healthy food tastes great afterward. Frankly, any food would.

12. Be a smart patient

Your doctor can help keep you in good health, but the responsibility ultimately falls on you. Seek a second opinion before undergoing any procedure, because 30 percent of the time, that opinion will change the diagnosis or plan. Keep a written medical history, and educate yourself about any family problems, even if that means calling your creepy uncle. You might even consider signing onto Microsoft HealthVault so your files are accessible in case you find yourself in trouble away from home.

13. Lose the beer belly

Most men fasten their belts below their waists. It's just another way of avoiding the truth about that gut. Grab a tape measure and put it around your body at the level of your belly button. That number should be less than half your height. So for my 6-foot, 1-inch frame, I need to keep my waist under 36.5 inches. If avoiding heart attacks and diabetes isn't enough motivation to eliminate that gut, consider this: For every point your body mass index is over 25, your testosterone drops 3 percent, which isn't very manly.

14. Go green

I drink green tea three times a day. It's packed with heart-boosting and cancer-stopping polyphenols that black tea doesn't offer. (These beneficial chemicals are lost when it's fermented.) Green tea also delivers a boost of alertness, but from a smaller dose of caffeine than black tea. Green tea can even fight dandruff, although only if you pour it directly onto your scalp. (It's probably a good idea to let it cool down first.)

15. Sweat till you're wet

If you can work up a sweat for just one hour a week, you'll enjoy a range of benefits: reduced risk of heart attack, better mood, and lower blood pressure. I like interval training on the elliptical, with 15 pullups and 15 dips every 10 minutes. Your muscles will become more efficient, so you'll have more stamina for more enjoyable activities that also work up a sweat.

16. Put it in the bank

Most people rank personal finance as their No. 1 stressor, usually because they feel powerless. Stress not only shortens lives, it also drives people to habits like smoking, drinking, or bingeing on food. Keep some money in a special bank account, safe from your lust for a new television, and you'll establish an emotional comfort zone with major health benefits.

17. Have as much sex as possible

If a 50-something man could have sex 700 times a year, the exercise and stress reduction would make him look and feel years younger. I wouldn't recommend quitting your day job in order to hit that number—but what's the harm in trying? The next time your loved one says she has a headache, tell her she's literally killing you. It works for me. Or use this fun schedule to have sex eight times this week.

18. Know your numbers, and then aim lower

Take the part of your brain dedicated to your steak house's phone number and reassign it to your heart's vital signs. These include blood pressure (which ideally should be below 115 over 75), LDL cholesterol (under 100), resting heart rate (under 70), and fasting blood sugar (under 100). If your numbers aren't ideal, change your diet until they improve.

19. Add some weights

Just 30 minutes twice a week spent lifting weights can build significant muscle mass. What's more, working all that muscle burns tons of calories, making it a great way to lose your gut, too. Don't have weights? Try lifting yourself: Pullups are the most valuable muscle-building exercises I do. Oprah's trainer, Bob Greene, pointed out to me that pullups work the back, pecs, arms, and belly all at once. And since you're lifting yourself, you'll think twice before eating that doughnut, because you'll just have to lift it later. A simple setup in a door frame is convenient and inexpensive.

20. Grab your nuts

Nuts are among the best sources of healthful fats and protein around. I keep a bag of walnuts in my fridge and use their massive dose of omega-3 fatty acids to boost my brainpower while I see patients. Half a handful eaten about 30 minutes before a meal will temper your appetite and help you avoid the drive-thru.

21. No, seriously, grab your nuts

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men in the 15-to-35 age group, but it's usually curable if it's caught early enough. I strongly urge you to grab your testicles. Check them for bumps at least once a month. Each testicle should feel smooth and slightly soft, and one should hang slightly lower than the other, like two avocados (which, in Aztec, actually means "testicles") growing on a tree. Here is everything else you need to know to to keep your package healthy.

22. Hit the dance floor

Crosswords and card games aren't the only way to keep your brain razor sharp. It turns out that any kind of dancing with complex moves is stimulating enough to give your neurons a workout. Even the simplest moves provide some physical exercise. So don't be such a wallflower on your next night out. As a bonus, dancing may help you with tip No. 17.

23. Do your penis a favor and step on a treadmill

Men who exercise enough to burn 200 calories a day significantly lower their chances of impotence. That's because impotence often has the same cause as heart attacks: blocked arteries. Your penis is like a dipstick for your arteries, so check it. If you're interested in keeping it up later in life, lace up the sneakers now.

24. Learn to cook

Think you know how much butter goes into those mashed potatoes at a restaurant? You're probably off by half. If you can cook, you not only save money but also gain control over what goes into your meals. Plus, for most women, a man who knows how to cook is as sexy as one who stars in movies. I have trouble boiling water. Thankfully, I'm already married.

25. Some pills should be popped

The indoor life gives modern man protection from the elements and the ability to watch Gossip Girl in private. Unfortunately, roughly half of us are deficient in vitamin D, of which the sun is a major source. This crucial vitamin may aid in fighting cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. I take a 1,000 IU supplement each morning.

Back from Vegas

We had a wonderful time.
The plane ride there was a bit rough but we made it! We saw many sights and sat on the blackjack tables and we had fun! We meet real nice couples while we was playing blackjack or sight seeing.

Now, its time for the real world and back to work.

On our way to Vegas

I am sitting at the airport at our gate waiting on the plane to pull up and I thought I would send out a short blog of what comment I got on the way through the airport.

What has made this trip so great is the security man was checking my license and plane ticket and keep starting at me and then then my ID then he finally asked....."Have you lost weight?" I said "Yep, almost 40 pounds". He said he could tell.

I just got that license after I got married this year in March and I already don't look like my picture on my ID. So, I don't care if I loose all of my money in Vegas at least I got the best comment on this trip....LOL

Talk to you all when we get back!!!

Honey Do List

I got this idea from my aunt's Blog. Trap Door

I like that idea, so I am copying as well.

Here is my list that I'd like to get done before the end of the year:
  • Put all of my music from my CDs on our computer in MP3 form..

  • Loose 20 pounds but I will happy with 10 since the holidays are coming soon.

  • Reorganize my closet (this is a upcoming blog)

  • Clean my closet and dressers of clothes I no longer can or will wear. Donate to Goodwill.

  • Write down everyone's B-day's for the upcoming year. (a new goal)

  • Start thinking about and trying new low fat/cal sweet treats that taste good for the holidays

  • Land a full time job with benefits.

  • 100% potty train Bo. (I need alot of luck on my side)

These small goals are all over the place but these are ones that came to me as I was thinking.
I am sure there is more I should be doing.

Insurance

Auto insurance has never made sense to me. Hell, I even took many insurance classes in college and I felt lost all the way through it. When we got the Jeep in college, the insurance was $300 a month. Yes, that's crazy! Well, the last few years since we been out of college we paid $160 a month for two brand new cars.
Than our policy was up for a yearly renewal and we notice the price had gone up month. So, Cody calls them and after they found out we was married they drop it down to $120 a month. How shocking is that? Three years ago we was paying $300 for one Jeep and now $120 full coverage for two cars.

Can someone explain? Gotta love insurance companies.

Dead Bird

Yes, this is a picture of a dead bird.

Cody was standing in our screen in pouch looking at the patio and all sudden he heard a bang above and before he could look up, he heard a another noise below on the patio and there was a dead bird. Than the back legs fell back and he was dead.
Whats the odds of a bird flying into a window and dying right in front of him?

R.I.P. Logan

Bella and Logan hanging out in the cage....just because...She would follow him everywhere when she was a puppy.
Our beloved first Westie we fell in love with as left this earth to wait for all of his friends up above. Logan came to live with Joe (Cody's best friend), Cody and I when we had first moved to Noblesville in our rental home on Fox Chase Drive. Logan was Joe's dog that he has since he was 12 years old. Mr. Logan (as I would call him) was a male 12 and 1/2 old WESTIE.
As of today, he gave us two reasons to have our own westies. Bella and Logan was buddies and he showed her the ropes when she was a puppy. No matter how much time had passed, they would always remember each other. Bo's barking personality is just like Logan's when he was a puppy, I can't for Bo to follow Logan's footsteps.

Cause of death: One of Joe's parents larger dog bounce on top of his back and cause a disc to slip and due to his age it was to big of a risk for back surgery. So, they put him asleep.

Westies ran away from home

I was upstairs doing my own thing and Cody was playing his video games when the lady next door rang out door bell. I ran down the stairs to answer it and I asked Cody where are the dogs? (they are normally at the door ready to greet who ever) I open the door to see the lady next door lady and her holding Bo! I had no clue he was missing. The garage door wasn't shut all of the way and BOTH dogs had slipped out.
She said she open up her back door to let her dog in and Bo slip in too. She was shocked and came over to our house. Than I realize Bella was missing too. So I ran outside yelling her name and there she was running my way. THANK GOD.

We are not good parents when we don't even notice that the dogs had ran away from home.

Your Social Security Number

Is your Social Security number save?

I work for an company have a wide range of devise amount of employees that work for the company. Mostly Hispanic and we find about 5 a week of fake social security cards. We run the numbers through the social security website and if the name doesn't match the number provided on the card we must ask the employee to go to their local SS office. However, never come back to work.

This week I had a male that looked in his mid 30s and his social security card was just a bit to new. We ran his number and it was rejected. When I looked at his paper work a little bit more he had put his birth year as 1998. Wouldn't that make him 11 years old?

PLEASE KEEP YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER SAFE.

Lottery Ticket

YOU can REALLY win money on a Lottery ticket.

I wont $100.00 for the first time. The biggest amount I ever won.

I bought another ticket and pocket it the rest.

To bad I lost on my 2nd ticket. Image that.

Just a Pop

This past weekend my husband went to the local hardware store. He was standing in line behind a man that was buying stone and while we was paying for the stone the cashier asked him if he had purchase the pop that he had right with him. He said yeah.
The cashier asked where?
The man said over there and pointed.
The cashier asked who checked him out?
The man said he had no idea...someone.
The cashier said that a cashier normal puts a bright sticker on the pop if purchases.
The man said he didn't know.
The cashier said she would need to call the manager.
The man walked out of the store and left the unopened pop there.

When is it okay for a mid 30 man to steel a pop? Why not be honest and pay for a dollar drink. Instead of lying and make yourself look like a fool.

My husband purchase a pop and asked the lady if she could put a sticker on it. :)

Jumping Around

My aunt recorded and put back ground music of me jumping around at one of our Family Birthday Parties. It was not easy jumping around on it but it was fun.

Wal-Mart Casher

Today I went to Wal-Mart to do our bi-weekly shopping. I choose the busiest time of the week. Saturday mid-afternoon. After shopping for a hour and half I didn't have to wait long in line to be checked off. However, the cashiers had just switch right in front of my order, which I didn't think much of it. So I laid all of my items in order after my reusable bags - Cold foods, perishable, beauty supplies, Cleaning supplies, than eggs, chips and bread. I left all of the large big items in my cart, like always.
When I pulled up to the end I told her that I had a few items in my cart and I could lift them for her to scan. She rolled her eyes. I thought "Gosh". Even though she didn't say "Hello" or anything I am fine with but rolling your eyes at me is not right. When she returned to scan the rest of my bagged items she just thew my stuff in and mixed all of my cold, perishable and cleaning supplies. (So, that was a waste of my time). Than when I saw a item that I had a "buy one get one free coupon" I stopped her to let her know. She let out this big SIGH....I showed her the rest of my 'buy one get one free coupons' (about 6 total) and she got to the point when she saw one of them items she would throw her hands to cover her face out of disbelief. Could she get any ruder than that? Yes. Than after bagging my items, and scanning my 'buy one get one free coupons' she told me my total. I showed her my large pile of regular coupons that been sitting in front of her. I herd her let out a "grez" under her breath. I thought to myself....you have to be kidding. After her negative body language and disrespected attitude. She ripped my receipt real fast and only have my HALF of my receipt. I have no idea how much I saved after all of the grief with using my damn coupons.

Now, I worked for walmart 7 years and I know working on a Saturday afternoon is crazy and terrible but to treat me like dirty just because you have to scan my coupons. It wasn't like she had been standing there for hours. She just got there and took over for someone else.
I went to Kroger this morning to get meat and ect. Everytime I am in there EVERYONE is nice and bag my things right. I almost thinking about paying the price difference so I can get real Customer Service.

Good Company Vs. Bad Company

Trust me I have worked for some bad companies in my short work career. Obviously, my last company went out of business this year. I loved the people I worked with and for however, the benefits and the way the company treated their employees was last on their list.

Now, that I took this temporary (hopefully full time in a few months) job I have now experience the feeling of how a company cares for their employees and put them at the top of the list. Its real nice. I am sitting from my living room with the afternoon paid. But before I got the afternoon off, they treated us to lunch at a nice restaurants and told us to "Go home and we will see your tomorrow".

I always heard there was nice companies out there but I didn't know how it felt.

He Cares

Today I came in from taking the dogs from a walk and my husband was waiting on me to get home because he recorded a part of the local news that he wanted me to watch.

As I was grabbing a water and etc he asked me to sit down. I told him to just play it and I will listen to it while I am finishing up. He stilled waited for me to sit down so I can only pay attention the the TV.

The news had a story on people that talk on the phone and drive. Not text but talk on the phone. He said he knows EVERYTIME I am in the car I am on my phone talking to someone.

This 24 year old woman was casually talking on her phone out on one of the county road by our home and flipped her car on the side because she wasn't 100 % paying attention to the road. The woman is now in a wheel chair and cant not walk anymore.

After the story had finish it. He turn to me and asked for me to think twice about driving and talking on my cell phone because he did not want me to end up like the woman on TV.

Girls Night

I meet up with all of my college friends last night. Everyone came in out of state or into the city of Indy to have dinner and go to a causal bar. We had drinks and dinner and we never acted like a minute or a year had passed.
We are all different and come from different walks of life but we have so much in common.

I missed them all and I cant wait until the next time we meet again.

My Wish

My Wish is for all of my family and friends are healthy and live a heart healthy life.
My Wish for all of them to live stress free lives with no disappointments.
My Wish for them all to have laugh-full days with only happy tears.

My Wish for them to remember that what comes down must come up and what goes around has to come around. Things happen for a reason. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger. God gives you just enough that he knows you can handle.

My wish is for all of my family and friends to live their lives and to be happy. Do what makes YOU happy.

Attn: All Woman (also men)

First or foremost I do not read books most of the time. I get bored and began to drift off to a nap most of the time. I couldn't even read $200 text books in college. However, I have fell in love with this book that I MUST tell every woman that I know. I even bought the book for my best friend and I am going to re-read the book.

I really liked the author of the book Bethenny Frankel. She is in a reality show on Bravo. Her book came out in March and I looked and heard about it a few times. Then I notice her book was on the New York's bestseller list for many weeks in a row. So this month (actually two weeks ago) I bought the book.

I began to read it and I couldn't put it down. The book is called Naturally Thin - unleash your skinny girl and free yourself from a lifetime of dieting. She gives you 1o rules that she lives by and they all make sense. Just common sense that is. She has been on so many diets. Every woman I know has been on some kind of diet at some time of their life time. But after reading this.....I think I got it and I think she has the key and the advice that MAKES SENSE!!

I been counting my calories since April but I am trying to get off that (because I cant do it the rest of my life). she makes life easy to eat "whatever you want" and don't have to "measure" all of your food"

One of the 10 rules that makes sense is "You can eat it all but you cant have it all at once"

I am very passion about this book and I HIGHLY recommend every woman to read it.

First day...

Everyone wants to know how was it?

It was fine. Like any normal first day.
Meet about 40 people (which I cant remember 10 of their names right now).
Tell me thousand different rules of this and that.
Show me 3 new software programs.
Than give me a pile of paper work and sit me down at my new empty office.
People was kind of quite and I kept to myself.

I just tried to get the hang of all the new things and the people.

Second Day went a lot smoother and people seem to talk a little bit. I must of passed their test for the first day. Because I got all of their paper work down and then some.

P.s. I wasn't tried after the first day and even hit the gym hard after 8 hours of work. I was impressed with myself.
