Yes, this is a picture of a dead bird.
Cody was standing in our screen in pouch looking at the patio and all sudden he heard a bang above and before he could look up, he heard a another noise below on the patio and there was a dead bird. Than the back legs fell back and he was dead.

Birds aren't too smart. I've killed many when they flew into my windshield.
