How Do I feel?

Why does everyone want to know this answer?
Doesn't it matter?
Can I only express my feelings only to my husband?
Why is everyone waiting for me to over react?
What age does everyone think I am?
Can I shed a tear for them?
Can I close my feelings inside?
Why not push everything to the side?
Can I be myself and be an adult?
Can I just feel numb?
Do you really want to know how I really feel?

How do you feel?
What is your thoughts?

**For readers that are highly confused...I am very sorry**

Have you checked your Medicine Cabinet Lately?

Cody came down with a head cold last week and when I went to our medicine tub half of it was expired.

Highly recommend you to check your medicine cabinet now before you get sick. I had to run to the CVS three times this past weekend to restock our tub.

I heard that the H1N1 will be hitting again soon when the weather gets warmer again. So get your shot or get your cabinet stocked.

I am now sick with something different than what Cody has...so Cody had to run to the CVS to grab more of another kind of medication.

CVS has had alot of business from us lately.

Way too Funny!!! - Got to read (Sorry its Long)

Dear Diary,

For my birthday this year, my daughter (the dear) purchased a week of
personal training at the local health club for me. Although I am still in
great shape since being a high school football cheerleader 43 years ago, I
decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and give it a try.

I called the club and made my reservations with a personal trainer named
Belinda, who identified herself as a 26-year-old aerobics instructor and
model for athletic clothing and swim wear.

My daughter seemed pleased with my enthusiasm to get started! The club
encouraged me to keep a diary to chart my progress.
_____________________________
MONDAY:
Started my day at 6:00 a.m. Tough to get out of bed, but found it was well
worth it when I arrived at the health club to find Belinda waiting for me.
She is something of a Greek goddess - with blond hair, dancing eyes and a
dazzling white smile.
Woo Hoo!!
Belinda gave me a tour and showed me the machines. I enjoyed watching the
skillful way in which she conducted her aerobics class after my workout
today. Very inspiring!

Belinda was encouraging as I did my sit-ups, although my gut was already
aching from holding it in the whole time she was around. This is going to
be a FANTASTIC week-!!
__________________________
TUESDAY:
I drank a whole pot of coffee, but I finally made it out the door. Belinda
made me lie on my back and push a heavy iron bar into the air then she put
weights on it! My legs were a little wobbly on the treadmill, but I made
the full mile. Belinda's rewarding smile made it all worthwhile. I feel
GREAT-!! It's a whole new life for me.
_______________________________
WEDNESDAY:
The only way I can brush my teeth is by laying the toothbrush on the
counter and moving my mouth back and forth over it. I believe I have a
hernia in both pectorals.. Driving was OK as long as I didn't try to steer
or stop.

I parked on top of a GEO in the club parking lot. Belinda was impatient

with me, insisting that my screams bothered other
club members. Her voice is a little too perky for that early in the
morning and when she scolds, she gets this nasally whine that is VERY
annoying.

My chest hurt when I got on the treadmill, so Belinda put me on the stair
monster. Why the heck would anyone invent a machine to simulate an activity
rendered obsolete by elevators? Belinda told me it would help me get in
shape and enjoy life. She said some other crap too.
_______________________________
THURSDAY:
Belinda was waiting for me with her vampire-like teeth exposed as her
thin, cruel lips were pulled back in a full snarl. I couldn't help being a
half an hour late - it took me that long to tie my shoes. Belinda took me
to work out with dumbbells.

When she was not looking, I ran and hid in the restroom. She sent another
skinny witch to find me.Then, as punishment, she put me on the rowing
machine -- which I sank.
________________________________
FRIDAY:
I hate that witch Belinda more than any human being has ever hated any
other human being in the history of the world. Stupid, skinny, anemic,
anorexic little cheerleader. If there was a part of my body I could move
without unbearable pain, I would beat her with it.

Belinda wanted me to work on my triceps. I don't have any triceps! And if
you don't want dents in the floor, don't hand me the stupid barbells or
anything that weighs more than a sandwich. The treadmill flung me off and I

landed on a health and nutrition teacher. Why couldn't it have been
someone softer, like the drama coach or the choir director?
________________________________
SATURDAY:
Belinda left a message on my answering machine in her grating, shrilly
voice wondering why I did not show up today. Just hearing her voice made me
want to smash the machine with my planner; however, I lacked the strength
to even use the TV remote and ended up catching eleven straight hours of
the Weather Channel.

SUNDAY:
I'm having the Church van pick me up for services today so I can go and
thank GOD that this week is over. I will also pray that next year my
daughter (the little brat) will choose a gift for me that is fun -- like a
root canal or a hysterectomy. I still say if God had wanted me to bend
over, he would have sprinkled the floor with diamonds!!!

It wasn't a Deal...it was a Steal

Since Bo chewed on my black boots...I been looking for new black boots on clearance to replace them.

I found a great deal on new boots on Satruday afternoon. I stopped by JC Pennys because I had gotten a $10 coupon but I had to spend $10 to use the coupon. So the first place I went was the shoe department. There was one pair of black tall boots on clearance and they were MY SIZE. They were on sale for $9.97, but I needed another item to use my coupon. So I picked up another pair of cute shoes for work for $4.97.

So I got $100 Tall Black Boots for free and a $60 pair of dress shoes for $4.97.

Total bill yesterday at JC Pennys $5.29 after taxes.

Spring Cleaning

Well its not spring yet but it is raining today so its almost spring.

I notice my favorite and large make up bag was looking a little bit "used" or maybe "over used". I believe I got it around the same time I got my gym bag (a Blog below). So I started looking for another makeup bag through my "Bag Closet" and while I was searching... I realized I had another 5 small make-up bags with make-up in them.
I had no idea how much make-up I had or had not been using. However, the question is...Should I throw away brand new make-up away or keep it? Its new and I never have used it....now that I know its there I "might" use it...... Then a light bulb came on as I am going through these items - Am I a pack rat?
Lets recap here....
I have a "Bag Closet" (which I do go through yearly and donate some)
I found MANY make-up bags that I have had for years as gifts
I have make up bags full of make-up and tools that I never even knew I had.

What makes this worst.....I found a unused Secret deodorant that I NEVER knew I had.
Did you know Deodorant expires? February/2007 to be exact.

R.I.P. Gym Bag

I officially broke my 11 year old gym bag. I got the bag back when I was 15 when joined the dance team in high school. It made it through High School, College and now.
I am now taking over my husband's gym bag, that I bought him for Christmas and he has not used once.

The Tredmill Vs The Road

I have benefits and disadvantage running inside vs. outside.

Treadmill VS. Outside
Treadmill
1. Boring (running in the same place its hard to keep mentally strong to finish the run.
Outside
1. Entertaining (Run to that road than run to the next road, Keeps me mentally entertained.
Treadmill
2. Control Weather Climate
Outside
2. Snow, Ice, Rain, Sunny, Cloudy, Cold
Treadmill
3. Limited time frame (I can only have the Treadmill for 30 mins, so I lie and add another 30 mins under my husbands name.
Outside
3. Run as far and as long as I want.
Treadmill
4. Calculated Calories, miles, time....
Outside
4. Est. Calories, Miles and Time
Treadmill
5. Smooth running path
Outside
5. Watch out for the potholes, crack in the
sidewalk, and gravel roads.

The worst so far....

Today I went on my normal run with the group but it was the most difficult run so far. They always said you will have good days and you will have bad days.

This was a horrible day.....

I started off real good with the group, right in the middle keeping tempo until I notice my shoe came untied. Without even thinking, I just stopped and tied my shoe which I completely forgot I had people right behind me running!!! (Sorry, for the people I caught off guard). After tieing my shoe I looked up and they were 20 to 30 feet away. My goal for the rest of the trip was to get back with the group. I never even came close to the group.

So as I am trying to caught up with the group, which I am now at my 1st mile marker and I am starting to sweat. I didn't put two and two together when I wore my glasses that morning that I might of wanted to take the time to put in my contacts....my glasses began to fog up . Which caused me to not see as well as I needed on the new route that we took yesterday. I just kept my eye on the group's back and thought to myself....if I can still see them through my foggy glasses than I wont get lost (Did I mention this was a new route that I NEVER took). When I took my next turn on a side road it was covered in snow and ice.
So, I am running in my foggy glasses, on ice and snow going towards the sun which was making it even harder. I kept trying to use my gloves to whip down my glasses; however, when you are hot and sweating through your second pair of gloves, you are battling a battle that you will never win.
(I ran about 80 percent of my 4 miles with fogged up glasses)

Through the whole run the wind was so cold, It was hard enough to breath in the cold 13 degree weather but even harder to keep your face moving so your face didn't freeze in place. I could feel the cold wind even through my teeth.
I thought to myself how am I going to make it? I normally run with two friends which both was not there yesterday. So, I had to keep positive and "I told myself I WAS NOT GOING TO WALK I was going to run the whole thing. I still had people behind me running and I wasn't the last one. SO I CAN DO THIS!!! Right?" As I have this peep talk to myself running through a neighborhood and I am pumping myself up mentally - A GUY PASSES ME ON MY RIGHT!

So I only had one other person left behind me....I thought to myself - "All I have to do is stay in front of that person and finish this" In the last half of mile she passed me - so I just took off and stayed on her ....right behind her in fact.

So what I finished last- but the cold, my shoe and my glasses where all working against me yesterday.

This weeks obstacles are ..... We are getting more snow tonight/tomorrow day and I have to run tomorrow night in that mess and Wednesday night we increase to 5 miles!!!

I had a hard time at 2 miles and never thought I could even run 4....now I am at 5miles. I don't think about it....I just do it.

Month 1 out of 5

I wanted to recap my first month of training for the marathon. I started running back in November and it was only a few miles on a treadmill. Outside is all different ball game.

I remember my first night outside running...I got all dressed and I was scared, excited and butterflies in my stomach. I stood in the lobby waiting for 6pm to come around. There was expert runners standing all around me in the lobby with the latest running gear. I stood there with two layers of clothes with a coat on top, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of gloves and most important my ski mask. As we walked outside in the dark the cold 30 degree air hit my body like needles I was scared and wondered to myself....."What am I doing and why am I out here" We took off down a snowy path along 126th street in fishers. It was such a cold and dark night and with headlights blinding me as I was running in between ice and snow piles I just took off and said "I CAN DO THIS". We ran a mile out to a stop sign than turn around and ran the mile back to the YMCA.

Now, after a few cold nights and feeling great running down the main road and passing people as they are riding in their cars.I am running four miles now. I feel like I am climbing a large mountain and I still have four months to get to the top.

In the first month I have realized not to analyzed the weather. I looked at the temperature- dress according- then just go run with the group. I have ran at 3 degree windchill to 40 degrees on a sun day. I get excited when I see 35 degrees.

I been told February is the worst month. More miles and colder temperatures. Stay in tune for my 2nd month update.

WESTIES

I found this on my vets website a Pet health care online website that I have signed up for the dogs. I was reading it tonight and they said Behavior Concerns with Westies are:
  • Makes an affectionate and fun-loving companion. - Bella - always have to be touching you
  • Playful and good with children. - Bella and Bo
  • Bold, watchful, busy, and often mischievous. Bo -TP anyone?
  • Outgoing toward strangers. Bella wants everyone to come see her / Bo wants to tell everyone this is his place.
  • Most get along well with other dogs, but some can be scrappy. Bella holds dog toys in front of Bo where he cant grab it, just because she can. - I always tell her to stop being a "Bitch and let him have it"
  • Most get along with other household pets, except for rodents. Bella loves to hunt in the yard for rodents.
  • Independent and somewhat stubborn. Does best with reward-based training involving food or games. Bella will only sit if you have something in your hand....and stubborn - she does what she wants. Bo is very independent and will go off on his own and he likes to talk back (I mean bark back) -stubborn.
  • Learns quickly, but also bores quickly, and may come up with its own ideas. Did I already say TP? He has gone through over 15 rolls so far.
  • Some tend to bark a lot, which should be discouraged from an early age. Bo and we have tried everything to get him to STOP good luck!!!!!!!Bo is barking RIGHT NOW.... Bella - hardly never.
  • Many like to dig. Did you I say Bella likes to hunt....she has left some good holes in the yard and her white face has been brown from a few holes.
YES, IT SEEMS THESE PEOPLE KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT...I HAVE TWO HARDHEADED, SPOILED, LOVABLE, AND STUBBORN LITTLE WESTIES. - It wouldn't be the same with out my kids.

Dinner for 4

Bella is known to sit in front of the stove while we cook dinner. Well Bo has caught on to the same bad habit. So, now we have four in the kitchen and two that get step on.
