Fireworks and Dogs Dont Mix

I like watching fireworks but why do people have to set them off for two weeks straight. A week before 4th of July and a week after. If anyone has a dog they would know what I mean. Our dogs get so upset when they keep going off which makes it a long night for us.

    Ours do too. Tinker used to go get in the bathtub.

    I wasn't home on the 4th so I really don't know about then (and our town does the fireworks at the lake that we live on!) but the week before and the week after Lorelei was perfectly. Fireworks and thunderstorms don't really bother her at all. I don't know about Bella yet but I really I get as lucky with her!
